The Jews did not Exist

Have you heard of Jean Baudrillard work "The Gulf War Did Not Take Place"? Yes, this is how I want you to take the title of this essay. Now of course I will preface that this work does not in any way shape or form represent something anti-semitic in any sense, and for what it's worth while I do not consider myself a zionist I am more of a zionist relative to my peers. Over a year ago at Hillel fest at my university, this was during peak palestine, encampment palestinian craziness. I remember going up to a religious jew he has his tefillin and all that, I'm not sure he was a rabbi but I must have referred to him as one. I came up to him to discuss how the current state of affairs, he was sort of a centrist, he must have been expecting me to discuss morals and was more than ready to condemn Netenyahu. To his surprise my only qualm was on why Israel chose not use extra-judicial covert action against the worlds most easily identifiable, most murder-able perpetuators as opposed to all out war and ground invasion. See this is as far as my "anti-semitism" goes. The "Jews" are an interesting group of people, I assume they were more simple to understand before modern society and globalism, but for the most part they do not exist, and probably have never really excepts in myths, and thousand year old tales. Recent discovery has highlighted that what is knows as "ashkenazi" is merely a combination of italian, levantine and turkish blood. See, I don't know how genetics works even before these paper I could bet money and won on the outcome. Me and my friends, we try to guess the races random ladies at bars with stereotypes and such, we joke around okay, but in doing this I have found myself to be especially bad at guessing out the jewish women. Is this because they do not exist, or because I have very bad vision, or maybe I am not anti-semitic enough, I don't know. What do I mean by this though, it has been debated and mostly accepted that jew are some sort of hybrid ethno-religion that also happens to be the one mainstream religion that anti-evangelical in nature, oh and it also is apparently intrinsically connected to some state in the middle east, and as it turns out that characterizes itself as officially secular. Isn't this all obvious nonsense to sane people? It is seriously true that the most marginalized minority on earth is the individual, we never talk about the particularly levantine looking jewish men who were probably slaughtered first in the holocaust. Just to be clear, if your grandmother survived the holocaust she was blonde haired, short-nosed and probably beautiful enough to not have been looked at by the paranoid germans, then I do not consider you a victim. Petty provocation aside though, the conventional notions of jewishness is marred by tons epicycles and sometimes outright contradiction. I'm not here to argue against any of these long-winded definitions, but to those concerned, what is the posterity of Jews if it destined to be followed by an unending column of asterisks for it continue existing? Many of the hardliner religious and orthodox jews agree with this line of thinking and oppose intermarriage for that reason. I find interesting the history of jews and anti-semitism for related reasons, once again people try to hard to decipher the anatomy of anti-semitism, some spend their lifetimes on this endeavour but for me it came so easy. Judaism for the most are non-evangelical, this means that jews do not seek converts, however it is also institutional to their members, as is any other religion. This, especially combined with the fact that jews do not really exist, explains most why it was so easy to accuse jews of occultism, dual loyalties, blood libel and such. They were other religions but not quite like judaism, who had at its core a belief of chosenness, and was particularly visible and deeply instructive to its members. None that particularly was a strong source of identity for its members. If jews strong enough to defend themselves they became an easy scapegoat. Now again none of this disproves that Judaism may not even exist, non-existent things are very important to many people, even today, think astrology. I was the watching speech by former obama speech writer Sarah Hurwitz at the Jewish federations of North America event. There she admits that judaism is not a religion "it doesn't matter if you do not practice they will still see you as a jew"—old jews are fond of saying this to the secular young ones. She goes further, she says, jews are not a race or an ethnicity, concluding on the insipidly tranquil "jews are a family" note a flat-out contradiction on it's face. Because families are famously not known to be sharing the same genetic material that which being apart of the same race or ethnicity would somewhat entail. She ended her talk saying something like what it means to be a jew is to be opposite of ancient egypt, why I assume to be the enslaving, cut-throat, hierarchy-loving and brutal ancient egyptian portrayed in the bible, a complete myth that no modern historian can corroborate. I don't want to particularly single out Sarah, after all she is just one person, but I can imagine how that same speech would go if it were any other jewish spokesperson, even the most conservative one, furthest away on political spectrum from Sarah. Regardless both would be relying on either outright falsehoods or biblical myths to define modern "jewishness" and what it means to be jewish. For something to exist it must have it's fundamental basis in a reality without contradiction, the varied jewish identity we are all familiar with today does fulfill this basic requirement. Consider what it means for jews to exist mathematically, what exactly is it that enables judaism to be a well-defined, tangible, closed set? If I was to make a function or mapping from all humans to the set of jews what exactly would be the contents of said function. All sorts of function not excluding one that simply asks a person if they are jewish, could be crafted for that question, but is that anything that novel***. On the other hand my philosophical intuitions tell me that an thing is obviously misguided it is marred by carve outs, exceptions, and special conditions. Again the pure question of whether jews exist is not made any more answerable if already people claim to be jews, or to have come from one, or to have previously believed to exist. I remember seeing haitian boy with star of david jordans dancing for Yahweh. I assume he is beloved his close friends for his unrelenting jewishness no? Not to forget the black Israelites or the Adults Jewish converts, a class composed of academics and hollywood directors alike or the jews that believe Jesus was the messiah, or the secular gnostic deists who take the most abstract interpretations of God in the talmud. Are these all tge same? I will prove to you that something is not right. ryan chapman explaned in diegstable format how the zionist movement has shifted from more universal to more particularist in nature effectively becoming more right wing.
